Hi I hope everyone here is doing well.
I am trying to book a last minute getaway with my 6 year old son and wondered if Lanzarote would be a safe place to go from 22 July onwards, in terms of the current heatwave effecting the meditteranean region?
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, the current heatwave is not impacting Lanzarote. Current temperatures are normal not excessive. Check the weather on eltiempo.es Lanzarote.

And bear in mind the Uv will be higher than mainland Spain
