Hi Guys 

Now things are sort of getting back to normal

We are going to buy in Pb we're looking at a budget of around 130€

So can anyone tell me what my final fees will be like Agents commission solicitors fees and any other hidden fees that only pop there heads up further down the line 

We are cash buyers so what is the  best way to pay (transfer the funds)

I have asked on place in the sun via webinars but getting peed off with every man and his dog calling me

You will pay approximately 10% extra so €130=€13k in tax and agent fee’s;open a bank account in PB you will need your passport;national insurance number and proof of paying tax so P60 ,I used Key Currency to transfer money seemed fair good luck.

Why do I need a Spanish bank account

I was just going transfer money from are British bank

It would also be wise to make a Spanish will, as well. We've just bought in Playa Blanca. The will cost us €750, as we had to make one each. We also had a few surprise bank charges in relation to the mortgage, but if you're cash buyers you should be OK.

Watch out for the bank charge when you pay for the property, Bankia charged me 1047 euros for a cheque for my own money that had been in my non interest paying current account for a number of weeks, so if you can pay directly from the UK so much the better.

We're viewing a few properties Friday will have words with agent

Ideally I just want to use my bank (Starling)

Hi guys we viewed a few villas on our hols

And to be honest we're better of just holidaying/renting instead of having are money tied up in a property

We spoke to quite a few uk owners out there and mist wished they never brought

I fully agree, you need a local Spanish bank account for tax payments and utility bills for the property. If you can get even one of your pensions/wages paid into the account it will be a lot cheaper than having a local bank account without some income going in. As for transferring from the UK to out here, I use Lloyds bank whom don't charge if you send it over in Euros.
