Residencia and time allowed back in UK

Hi, I am very likely to be applying for residencia here in Lanzarote now I have my new place here. I understand come 2021, it is likely to be 90 days in 180 if you are not resident. However is the reverse also the same, if I’m resident here can I only spend 90 out of 180 days in the UK, or as a UK National does that not apply.
