Hi,
We bought an apartment in Costa Teguise last year and wonder how we go about paying the notional tax - it is for our own use. Also how do we go about paying the council tax.
Any advice would be welcome

Hi Eil, we purchased our property last year too in Conil. We've just paid the non-resident's property tax via our tax consultant (Clarity Consulting - http://www.claritylanzarote.com/services-index/tax-accounting-services/ as they are local to us) We've also had bills for our 'rubbish' tax and car tax from our local Ayuntamiento. At the time of purchase we were told by our lawyer to go into our Ayuntamiento in September to set up the direct debit for our 'council tax' although I expect we'll get a bill for it soon. Hope this helps.
