I am looking for Nice spots to walk our dogs in Lanzarote.  I love water but beaches are forbidden. Does anyone has a nice idea?

Thanks, 🐶🐶🐶

Hi there

Between Matagorda and Playa Honda there is a beautiful stretch of beach, sandy where dogs are allowed. You can park right opposite and there is a little snack bar there selling drinks ices and snacks. Lovely promenade area.

I forgot to add you can see the planes landing and taking off as well.

In the attached photo, to the left you will see a bridge the left side of this bridge, dogs are allowed, its clearly signposted, I would say around 1-2km in length and to the right where the vans are parked is the little bar, we bike there often from our place in PDC

There is another beach a little further along that allows dogs and there are two larger restaurants close by, sorry I cant remember the name of the beach but its after you go over a hill and is on a 90 degree bend of the coastal path approx another 2 km along.

If you keep going until you get to Arrecife, there is a dog play park there where your dog can enjoy slides and various runs and holes and play with other dogs(there is also one of these parks in Playa Blanca), its on the front right next to the beach I think its Playa Reducto, you can see the park to the left of the photo of the beach where the curve is and there are trees, that's the dog play area.
