..hello

After countless visits to PB over the past 15yrs, we are looking to take the plunge and buy,  and possibly emigrate.

As a newbie be gentle pls.

Hi Dave,

I am too a newbie and am also looking to buy in Playa Blanca. It would be good to keep in touch so we can recommend each other estate agents, lawyers, banks etc.

Having been in PB in August I am returning again the first  week of October to do more viewing and hopefully take the plunge.

Any advice would be great and thank you.

The extortionate levels of personal taxation  can be very off putting tbh.

I'm sure that using charge cards, topped up from the UK will help but....19% tax above about €5k and then about 24% at around €20k is a killer.

We took the plunge and moved to PB in June. It was all hassle free. The estate agent we used was great and he recommended both a lawyer and a funds transfer company, both of which were great too.

Three months in and we haven't looked back, even working full time! Life is great in the sun! Any questions, please ask away.

:)

Thanks Matty, and congratulations on your move and it all going so well. If you don't mind would you be able to tell me the solicitor, estate agent and currency company you used?

Cheers,

Andrew
