Hi, I'm currently here on holiday and due to return to N. Ireland on 5th Oct. Have read different advice on what I've to do, some saying as I'm fully vaccinated won't now need to take day 2 PCR test on return home, then others say still need to take that until end of Oct but from 4th oct don't need the antigen test before leaving Lanzarote, it's  all a bit confusing.... Anyone know exactly what I'm to do? appreciate and help, thanks 🙄

Coming to Playa Blanca from UK 15th October for 10 days. Am I right in thinking that we won’t need to do any PCR tests before we go and while there and none on return to UK. As my son is 16 he has only had one vaccination and I have had 2. Also can you please tell me if we need to wear masks at restaurants, on the beach, by the pool and outside at cafes etc.

Can’t wait to get there!

Thank you very much.

We're here until 5th Oct as we've been fully  vaccinated just needed to show our covid passports, your son might need a PCR test. Coming home we don't need an antigen test but still have to take day 2 PCR test on return.

Just need to wear mask in shops and when going to loo in restaurants, no one's wearing them at beach etc, things seem quite back to norm here. Weather has been glorious. 😊

So, what’s the answer about tests? Do we need tests to come home?

As far as I've figured out from 4th oct the antigen tests are no longer required before we leave canaries but still have to take PCR test on day 2 of return to uk

I find it all as clear as mud! I think personally that anything can change at any time so the question is, do we take the risk or not? So miss my travels to Lanzarote it’s been almost 2 years now, precious years as we get older 😔

We're here at the moment and having a lovely holiday, it was straightforward when we arrived in lanzarote, showed passport at passport control then showed QR codes, next showed covid certificates which were checked with our passports then on to pick up our luggage... no queues at all. We fly home. 5th Oct so don't need an antigen test before we leave as this just changed from 4th Oct  but we still need the day 2 PCR when we return but I believe this is to be replaced with the less expensive lateral flow test end of Oct. Things seed quite normal here in Puerto del Carmen, we're so glad we came and the weather's been fantastic, hope you make it back soon and have a great time. 😊
