Hello new to Costa teguise. Here with my two children from Australia. Wondering if it is safe to post things here like computers and clothes?

Also if buying second hand goods is easy to do?

Like I say new here so if there is anyone with children who would like to do something send me a list.

It is best to buy electrical goods on the island (Milar https://www.milar.es/ or  Worten https://canarias.worten.es/ ) or other Canary Islands e.g:  for computers we use Banana Computers in Gran Canaria.  A lot of people will go to Gran Canaria on the ferry and load up their cars with goods and cloths, etc..  obviously you can also fly.  I just purchased my Macbook Air (M1chip) from Banana and it arrived within 2 days.(https://store.bananacomputer.com/tiendas/triana-las-palmas.html). they speak english and you can order on-line.  They also do bespoke Apple stuff which you can spec and order.

Point to note:  Try not to go to Electron in Arrecife (just up from Ikea) as a lot of their electrical goods are old models and they don´t honor the guarantee/warranty.

There´s a few shopping centres on Lanzarote -  Deiland in Playa Honda (as well as all your supermarkets such as Mercadona, Hiperdino, Overseas (british/irish foods) opposite side of LZ2) and another shopping centre in Puerto del Carmen called Biosphere - both good for clothes and Deiland has a small Worten for electrical goods although their larger shop is near Arrecife at the Argana Centre.  Argana centre also has Decathlon for sports clothes and equipment, a Mercadona (supermarket) and various DIY stores etc...  There´s always the capital Arrecife which has an array of shops - note most work to Spanish hours so close in the afternoon, then open again in the early evening. There´s a new very large shopping centre being built on the outskirts of Arrecife called Open Mall which is due to open later in 2022/23.

With regards to post in general, you´ll find a lot of stores won´t deliver to the Canary Islands, not even stores based on the mainland of Spain.  Post in general can take several weeks to get here and often gets stuck in customs.  Before ordering on-line always check that the company delivers to the Canary Islands. (They will have different paperwork to complete for the islands as apposed to the mainland or other parts of the EU).  Hope this helps.  Welcome!
