Hi, having recently changed our old large green A4 permanent residecia to the newer TIE when booking flights recently to Tenrife and just this day to Bilbao where there was always a message that you should produce paperwork to prove the discount now it seems it is now not needed. On both recent occasions we have had a message back from Binter and Vuelling stating that no further documents need to be shown at the airport.

So does anyone know whether the Viajes paper has now become surplus to requierment.

I have today booked the ferry return to Huelva and the same thing, not asked or need to show Viajes?

Many Thanks

Its always helpful to have the travel document from the local ayuntamiento it only costs about 1.15€ and its valid for 6 months, they may not require it - but for such a low cost it guarantees travel is permitted.

As I said in the original post using the TIE and booking both Vueling and Ryanair they sent a message saying no further documentation needed, have now booked Armas for a boat to Huelva and exactly the same.

I did use my NIE number and one thing we have noticed use your full name including middle names this maybe why its asking for documents

I do use middle names but on a previous trip to Seville the check in desk actually said  they had it as Trevor smith Paul instead of the correct Trevor Paul smith. Tried inputting that way but no joy.been Lanza to Fuerteventura multiple times on Olsen and ARMAS never any issues

All we ever put is what is on the TIE card and never had a problem but will probably pick a paper up just in case someone gets picky.

Strange how different areas work, you by online, anoth paying €1.15 us free but have to go to the office.
