Hi, My wife and I are planning to visit for a holiday in mid November, Can anyone tell me how strict the mask wearing situation is in Playa Blanca? we are both exempt from mask wearing here in the U.K. but don't have to prove it, does the same apply in Lanzarote?

Thank you

Hi

You will need a letter confirming your exemption in Spanish

It is more disciplined in Lanzarote in relation to complying with the Covid 19 rules , probably why they have it under control

Enjoy your holiday

The mask wearing in Playa Blanca is very strict and rightfully so. Everyone adheres to the rules and is respectful. Hence why their numbers are so low.

Like the other reply, you will definitely need proof and would be best in both English and Spanish.

To be honest i think everyone should have proof in England why they don't wear them. Its one of the best ways forwards.

Enjoy your holiday, we are due to arrive 16th November, so hopefully we can escape the madness in England.
