Anybody live on or close to Virginia Oasis? What is it like?

I would like some more details about Virginia Oasis apartments? If anyone knows anyone who lives there what it is like? The apartments some of them look nice. I am not bothered that they are 20 mins from the front I know where they are and that there is a bus stop right outside so that is not an issue. It is more the area and is it safe and friendly ? Is there a bar there and a supermarket? You read on line there is but on Google earth it did not look like it was “open”! I know the pool is no longer in use such a shame any information on the place anyone can give me good, bad indifferent would be great thanks. Do many Brits own places there or is it mainly Spanish residents? There seems to be a lot of places for sale there ?
