Hi , My wife is exempt from wearing a mask due to medical issues in the UK. Would this apply in Lanzarote or would she be ask to wear one?

You need proof both written in English and Spanish if your exempt from wearing a mask. This must be carried around with you at all times.

Thank you for your response. We are in Playa Blanca now. Getting a letter from your GP in the UK is virtually impossible. We are avoiding being in public as much as possible. We are determined to not let it spoil our return here after 2years. So sorry we didn’t move here when we had the chance. No thanks to Boris and his lies over Brex

Aww hope you have a great time. I actually don't think now masks have to be worn outside at present, only if you go inside shops, restaurants until seated etc. We was there in September and that was the rule then. Yes we love Playa Blanca and plan to move there in the near future.

I have to admit it is more relaxed than we thought it would be. Hope your plans to move here come to fruition. We now don’t have the earning potential to satisfy the Spanish Residency requirements to make a full time move now I’ve retired.

Thank you again.
