In Playa Blanca over the festive season

Hi there, my husband and I will be staying in a rental villa from 13th Dec for three weeks. Escaping the festive season in the UK. Feeling a bit strange about leaving the family behind. Is Playa Blanca a social town? Is Christmas and New Year celebrated much? Are we likely to meet many like minded people? Sort of excited to be coming for a full three weeks, but also as it draws closer, feeling a bit lost !!! Julie and Mark

Pb is the quietest of the 3 main resorts but still stuff to do. Spanish Xmas is 6 jan with parades 5 jan but tourist bars still celebrate xmas

Hi Julie, We have a place in Puerto Calero for 3 weeks from the 18th Dec. Our 5th xmas/ny on Lanza! So we know some good places to go for the festive season. Would be good to meet up.
