Hi all, we have been to the island in the past but never been to Play Blanca so any information would be appreciated.

We are both in our 50,s and have recently retired, currently spending a month in Tenerife and fancy a different island later in the year.

Looking at renting somewhere for about 3 weeks, any advice on properties and areas would be great.

Thanks

KatieMark

Hi there and welcome,

Faro park is a lovely peaceful area, a few local bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Only a 15 minute walk into town along the promenade.  Or a 5 min bus journey.

Imagine India in town and Asiatigo Chinese are 2 amazing restaurants too.

We are also in Lanzarote at the moment and the weather is glorious.

Enjoy 😉

Let us know if you need any other help. We have had a villa here for 19 years. So know the area quite well. 😁

Faro Park is lovely and peaceful if you don't want to be around tourists all of the time. It only takes us 15/20 mins to walk into playa blanca and the promenade is a beautiful walk. Lots of bars, restaurants etc.

The restaurants at the end here within walking distance, are an Italian, Indian, traditional Spanish restaurant, pizz burger, the lighthouse which does all home cooked food, then a new restaurant geko. Also a sports bar, casual bar, which sells mostly seafood dishes. Gustos do nice dishes and a lovely outside seating area. Then another new bar faro35.

Kind regards and good luck with your search.

Thanks again for all the information.

I have seen a Villa to rent on Airbnb but not booked anything yet, any recommendations or people with accommodation they rent can’t pm me, all happily received. We have used all the usual booking sites many times but the fees can sometimes be very expensive.

I've sent you a private message as we rent our villa out.
