Can anyone recommend: Restaurant or possibly a hotel for Xmas Dinner?

Hi all, we're back to Playa Blanca for Christmas but staying in a villa rather than a hotel - can't wait and counting down the days! Does anyone happen to know whether any of the hotels offer non-residents the ability of joining in with their Xmas festivities (obviously for a fee), in particular their Xmas meal/gala? (We have emailed a couple but no reply as yet, so unless forum users can help, I guess the next step will be to try calling a few...) If this doesn't work out, as a plan B, do the restaurants tend to stay open on Christmas day or close to give themselves a well-earned break? Thanks

Hi Ian.

Last year we made up a hamper of turkey sandwiches plus a bottle of fizz and spent the day on the beach at Playa Flamingo - fabulous. In the evening, we had booked La Chalanita (https://www.lachalanita.com/), which is right on the front of Playa Blanca beach next to Pedros. I would highly recommend - the food is great, the waiters are really friendly and the sea views are brilliant. Hope this helps. Good luck (might see you there!).

Hi Ian. We've been villa holidaying in Playa Blanca for Christmas for several years and we always go to Las Brias resort who welcome non residents for a 3 course Christmas dinner There's a large pool too if you want to take a swim! It's on Calle la Gormera if you want to Google it.

I think Sharon means "Las Brisas" which is on Calle los Calamares (near the bus station).
