Are any bars or restaurants open in Lanzarote?

Sorry, just re read that and it sounds patronizing which wasn't my intention.

They have been advertising flights for a while now, they just keep canceling and pushing the dates further back.

I just can't see things getting back to normal for a while yet.

I recon September at the earliest but that's only my personal opinion.

Also I recon a load of businesses will go bust as obviously rely on tourism.

I hope your right and get away soon. Perhaps you can post any flight info on here.

Stay safe.

I totally agree, safety should be paramount firstly, but as you said i feel sorry for the small businesses that rely on the trade so much.

Fingers crossed and stay safe

Yes some bars are open since Monday 11 May, keeping in line with the current distancing and hygiene regulations.

We had lunch and a cold drink yesterday in a terrace by the sea yesterday.

Was fabulous!

From Monday 11th a few have opened.

In Matagorda there are 2 Spanish bars along the bay. From Monday 17th 2 more will open.

Outside terrace only with 50% max occupancy and self distancing

How are things looking now? The U.K. are looking to create air corridors between certain countries from next week?

The British press has reported an upsurge in booking this weekend.
