Myself and my daughter flew out to Puerto Del Carmen on the 31st July so we either caught Covid on the plane or when we arrived.

Do we claim on the insurance and have to stay here until we’re free of it? Or can we go home as planned?

Covid sadly is no longer an issue when travelling.  The flights are recognised as being the main, confined places where Covis is being transmitted. Each person is responsible for ensuring that they wear marks IF they have Covid and at the airport ls you will actually see this. No one blinks anymore. 😔 Take precautions... don't fly without a mask if you want an extra layer of protection. I do, all the time. Covid is everywhere but with so many variants and a sense of immunisation success... no one really seems to care sadly, and it persists everywhere!

It’s been so long since Covid has been an issue I didn’t even think about catching it. It isn’t even mentioned in our insurance policy so I’m guessing we’re not covered for it. Thank you for your help

Don’t panic. It’s only a cold and has been down graded from anything serious. There are now (thank goodness) no restrictions at all. If you are really concerned for others you are free to mask up (very rarely seen now).

I hope you feel better soon and don’t worry.
