Am I right in assuming that when  I leave lanzarote on the 8th Feb that I have to take a lateral flow test on my 2nd day home?

All the information is on the UK Gov web site:  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19#international-travel-rules-until-11-february-2022

Always best to check the official notices.

Yes, more importantly, you need the code from the test kit for your passenger locator form, to get on the plane.

We came back last week and had to take one but you have to order online 48 hours before you leave as you need the reference number to put on your return form , we paid just under £14 for two they are the same as the uk ones , my other advice is take insect repellent the mosquitos were out in force .

As of the 6th February there is no requirement to test prior to returning to the uk or when you get home. All now need is vaccination proof and a completed locator form. Hope this helps

Sorry, my bad. It’s actually the 11th of February.

As of 4am from then there is no pre departure and post arrival testing if fully vacced.

Until then I think you need the 48 hour LFT In resort and have a 2 day test pre-booked before departure back to the uk

You’ll need the ref number for your locator form

You are confusing this a bit Jason, you haven't needed the LFT in resort for a few weeks now. 8th of Feb she needs the 2 day test at home, 11th of Feb she does not.
