Looking to find home help/nursing care for one or 2 afternoons a week for a relative who is home from hospital after surgery

Check the adverts in The Gazette (free English monthly magazine)… depends what sort of care you need, location, whether your relative speaks Spanish etc…

Thanks for that. Where can you get the Gazette. He's coming home from the main hospital in Arrecife to his apartment in Puerto del Carmen. Neither of them have any Spanish.

Gazette is available in various places free of charge, main office in Tías, or look at their website or Facebook page to contact. 

Would suggest that he also asks at the hospital or his Centro de Salud for recommendations.
