We have lived in Valencia for around 17 years, but are now considering relocatating to lovely Lanzarote. Here in Spain we have access to the national health via a SIP card which gives us the same access to health care as Spaniards. What´s the system in Lanzarote? Thank you!

No need to worry, the system here is excellent, we are 20 plus year residents and have never had any bother with the local Central Salud and on the very odd occasion the main hospital in Arrecife.

They would just transfer your Spanish health system to the Canarian one. Maybe a 10 minute filling in form process
