Hi Brenda
I heard that Baking Soda and Sugar was good for killing Cockroaches. So I used it to get rid of ants. I don't see why it wouldn't work on Beetles.
If you do decide to try it, make sure you don't put the bait anywhere that birds or pets might be able to access it.
I cut a hole in the side of and empty butter container. Put the bait in and the lid back on. I put it in between plants in the garden with a stone on top to stop the wind blowing it away. You could also use an empty jar or bottle turned on its side.
It might be worth a try, doesn't cost a lot of money and it wont damage your plants
