Hello all,

My Dad lives in Lanzarote and he's had a recent spell of bad health and it's looking likely that he is going to need some form of care going forward. I'm not sure if that is going to be a live-in care home, or a carer coming to him.

I've googled this several times to see what options are out there and this forum keeps coming up so i thought i'd post the question to see if anyone has any first hand experience of any care services in LZ? He lives in Carmen at the moment and ideally would like to stay as close by as possible.

Hi, I will be visiting Lanzarote in February and would like to purchase some fabric for my patchwork hobby. Can anyone tell me if there are such shops and if so whereabouts. I will be staying in Puerto Del Carmen, but would be happy to travel (by bus) and also are there times when shops are closed during the day. Many Thanks.

During winter (November till March) I'm mountainbiking on Lanzarote to keep in good condition and explore the island. There are many beautiful tracks around PdC. Who would be interested to join?

I see frequency of Lanzarote intercity bus service 2 and 3 is every 20 minutes from Playa Honda bus stop Poligono Industrial Pasteleria Juanvi; to PD Carmen; however bus 261/161 from airport to PDC is only every hour. Can i walk from airport 1km (google maps?) to Playa Honda bus stop or does everyone just take a taxi?

Any useful information about the intercity bus would be great - reliability/ buying 10 abono passes.

I am looking for a second hand sit-on-top or kayak to add to my own kayak so that I can take visiting friends out for a paddle off PdCarmen. Also, anybody out there fancy joining me?
