Dear Ash,

I have read with interest many articles from this “newspaper” which , in my humble view, are scaremongering and misleading in an anti Spain/tourism stance. I don’t know what the motive behind this is. In this case a breathtakingly small number are “anti tourism”, a proportion seek to have rampant tourism increases curbed. Then there are tens of thousands who work within or benefit from tourism here. Some people also say that Spain would be virtually bankrupt without tourism.

My advice is that we will continue to see tourism at around current levels for the foreseeable future.
