Today in the uk it’s been reported the the people of Lanzarote don’t want the English on the island buying property’s. And that some brits are packing up and leaving the island. This is because some property owners are renting the property’s out on short teams and paying no taxes . This I can understand and fully back the people of Lanzarote. I remember when the Spanish government took back property from English to build what they wanted. Why don’t the Spanish government build property’s that only the Spanish people can buy and make it that their are cheap property’s for the worker's and have to travel from the mainland. They say they still want the tourists to come just not buy the properties and rent them out. Isn’t it about time we backup the people of the island that are true Spanish. I will not be renting my property out to anyone when I buy mine soon. You buy them for yourselves to enjoy life with the people of the island. We know how bad it is when our own government give everything to all the people that invade the uk and their are no property’s for our own children.

Saturday 27 januari 2024, I left my car key in a black security tray at the Cesar Manrique airport in Lanzarote before my flight to Eindhoven. I notice that only after arriving already in Eindhoven NL.
Is there anyone who could help me to get this key in the post towards me in the Netherlands (or bring it to an airport in NL if you have a flight to Eindhoven or Amsterdam where we could meet)? Cost and reward to help me will be payed of course!

Hi all,
Does anyone know an office where they can fill in my yearly taxes, speak English and ask normal prices?
I work for a Spanish company, so it should not be a lot of work.
Thanks in advance!

Is this car park closed and for how long - 1 replies
We're coming back to Arrecife on 4th January and for 1 of our weeks we'll have a hire car, which we'd normally leave in the free car park near the Marina. I think it's called Juan de Quesada - but the online map says it's closed.
Can anyone please confirm if it's actually closed and how long before it's open again? Alternatively is there another free or cheap car park nearby?
Thanks Nick Charles
