We are going to relocate to Lanzarote in a few weeks and are looking to buy a car. Does anyone have experience in buying a used car on Gran Canaria and bringing to Lanzarote? If so, please get in touch as we would like to hear about your experience and the processes involved. Thank you

Why not buy here on the island there are many decent second hand places now. I personally would buy from a dealer here on the island so that all the transfer fees are sorted out by them. If you buy in Gran Canaria from a non dealer you would have to pay for the transfer tax plus you would have to register the car at the traffico office in Arrecife. It’s not a difficult process but it can be time consuming so make it easy and buy here, also if you have a problem it’s much easier to have it fixed he rather than take it back over to Gran Canaria
