Hi all. I am applying for residency in Arrecife. I have been to police and have my completed EX18. Have been online and paid my 12eu and downloaded modelo 790. Police have indicated I only need my certificado de empadronaniento from the town hall. I have made several trips to town hall with copies and originals of my passport and tenancy agreement and asked with a note in Spanish if I did not have what was required to process the application could they please tell me what else is required. I am unable to get an answer. Is there anybody that could tell me what I am needing for them to process my application. Or is there anywhere the procedure and requirements are set down? Thanks in advance for any responses

You need the deeds to your property in Lanzarote or legal rental agreement (including a full copy for them to file) your blue European Health Insurance Card, passport and copy. I was also told to bring proof of financial means, e.g. bank statement, although I wasn't asked for this when I successfully applied  3 years ago.

Good luck

Hi Aidan,

I am in Arrecife. If you let me know when you are coming again to the Town Hall

I will be happy to come with you to translate. Must be early, since they only give 30 numbers per day. They open at 07.30 hours.

Sheila.

Hi Shiela and thank you very much for your offer of help which I would like to accept. Later I will set out in detail the steps I have already taken and the documentation I have. You could hopefully then advise if I need to do anything more before I return to town hall. I have an appointment ticket with an XO prefix at 8.15 on11th March. If you could attend then with me that would be superb or I could rearrange if that does not suit you. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.
