Hi, Someone has mentioned to me that it is possible to pick up wifi from a satelite with a piece of equipment that you can connect to a smart tv. Can anyone confirm this and how much does it cost. I know that smart phones can pick up wifi in our area to gain access to the internet.

Not sure what you have been told , Satleiite internet is expensive and not unlimited data
If you mean , Internet through the air ( not via a telephone cable ) we are with JMA - More info www.internetlanzarote.com, we can get 12MB with unlimited data before were getting 2MB with Telefonica

Thanks for the response, we are not resident in lanzarote just several visits spread over the year so not installed a phone line. Since the satelite changed the television frequencies we are no longer able to receive the main BBc/ITV channels so we are looking for the simplest way of watching TV without installing a phone line if thats possible.

With JMA they dont use a telephone line and they have a package which you can pay for just a month , it gives 8MB , higher speeds require a minimum 6 month contract
Note: I am only a JMA customer not connected in any other way
