Visas for remote working

Hi all, as my husband and I are now both working from home, we are exploring the possibility of relocating to playa blanca whilst still working for uk company. With the premise of "all we need is wifi so it doesn't matter where we are!". 

When we've contacted the uk spanish consulate for advice, there doesn't seem to be a visa category to remote work for a company outside of Spain. 

Anyone else had this issue?
