Public transport can be a little patchy depending on where you want to go.  Plenty of buses between Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen passing through Playa Honda and again Arrecife to Costa Teguise.  The No 3 runs regularly and also other buses too.  Get the Moovit App (very useful when on the move) and go to the web site to check out the various routes.  https://moovitapp.com/index/en/public_transit-Lanzarote-4020.
