We have just spent a lovely 12 days in Playa Blanca. The villa we stayed in was close to numerous unfinished properties and some looked like they were inhabited by squatters. Just wondering why so many half built properties as it spoils such a nice area.

There are lots of reasons why there are unfinished properties, property developers going bust, to problems caused by covid.
The good news is that this week one of a section of properties on Calle Malvasia have been cleared of squatters (probably not good news to them), and the builders are currently clearing the site of debris. We wait to see further developments (no pun intended).
