Hi I’m moving over to tias in 3 weeks and am wondering about the mental health system out there. I’m a mental health nurse I know I can’t do my nursing there although would like to do something around what I love. I’ve got over 16 years experience with both adults and children and a systemic practitioner. I would really like to meet people too 

I would like to talk with someone who has installed solar panels and is generating their own electricity. I am particularly interested to know if you find it a financially viable option, what percentage of the electricity you consume is generated from your solar system and how much you still you supply from Endesa?

We have posted in this forum before about our intention of relocating to Lanzarote. We are a gay couple with a child and we have now narrowed our choice down to either Tias or Puerto del Carmen as a potential living location. We would love to hear from some locals about their views. What's important to us is to find community and to feel welcome. Any insights about Tias and/or Puerto del Carmen would be greatly appreciated. 

Please can someone advise on non payment for items sold. Person has blocked me on Facebook and my phone. Do I go to the local police. I have all the details on my ipad. Would appreciate any help.

Hi, this maybe a long shot but you know what they say! if you don't ask you don't get to know. 

AnyHow, I bough a car for a considerable amount roughly 6500€ approximately 7 months ago. When buying the car there were some faults that the seller made clear he would fix. I have evidence of messages between him and myself, (surly our agreement stands in some way.) When buying the car, I got a 12 month engine warranty which doesn't help my case. My main problem is that this guy has sold me a car, said he would fix the faults and he has ignored me and created excuses for 7 months to why he can't get round to doing it.

I eventually got a message back saying this doesn't get covered in a warranty and he will only fix the hand break which doesn't work at all. God knows how he managed to get it through the iTV (imagine how many unsafe cars he is putting through the system) , That must be illegal. (The car is automatic and has the park option on the gear box which is how we have been making sure our car doesn't roll off.)

Does anyone know if I can do anything about this? I don't want my money back, just the the jobs he said he would fixed or at least a partial refund to get the jobs fixed myself. Im  happy to pay a solicitor or anyone who can help me down the legal route.

I visit Lanzarote every winter and would like to store bikes in bike boxes in between visits.  I would also need access a few times while there with nearby space to be able to work on the bikes and return the boxes to the storage facility.  Thanks for any recommendations.

Hello, we are a rainbow family (two gay dads) with a small child thinking of moving to Tias. We would like to find a community and wondered whether Tias is the right place for us. Any messages or advice would be welcome. We also want to make sure that our little girl finds playmates etc. 

Hello, me and my partner are looking at moving to Lanzarote from the UK with our dog. 

My partner has her mother and brother there and have lived there for 6 years and we're keen to join them and start our new life.
