HI, we have just bought an apartment in Playa Blanca. There is some furniture that's old and broken, how do we dispose of it. Are there public dumps or places to bring it.

Also any recommendations as to where to look for nice garden furniture.

Thanks

Olive

Thanks Olive

Hi Olive

Take it your nearest punto limpio recycling centre.  They´re usually signposted.  You might need to stop at the entrance and show the operator what you need to recycle and they´ll show you which container to put it in. Very similar to the UK.

  • Playa Blanca clean point : C/ Femés-Playa Blanca next to the sewage treatment plant.

Hope this helps.

It takes time to get used to everything.  If you do FaceBook then join all the groups for Lanzarote e.g: Lanzarote Residents, Residents of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca Lanzarote etc...   There´s also a brilliant charity shop in Playa Blanca called Granny´s Attic which take most reusable household items, there on FaceBook too.  They´re in the Virginia Oasis Complex, Locale 1,  Calle Francia.

If you can join all the FB groups there´s a lot of very knowledgeable people happy to help.

Enjoy!
