Can anyone please advise the rough cost to ship a container from Scotland to PB loaded with house furniture

Good morning, I have a mate who has recently had a 20ft container from Galway Ireland door to door and the cost was just over 4k, hope this helps.

We moved from the north of England to PB 2 years ago. Had various quotes from £3k to £5.5k for a 20ft container.

Just make sure you know exactly what they’re quoting you for. Some just gave the price for shipping the container but loading in the UK and delivery on the island and unloading were additional. Also allow for customs clearance when it arrives here. Our top quotes included a full packing service and inventory. It took 5 weeks to get here.
