Using cash in supermarkets, pubs an restaurants.

Going over to Lanzarote next week. Are all shops, supermarkets pubs and restaurants etc accepting cash ? Are any card only ?
We arrived last week, everywhere we have been, cafe, shops, petrol, all cash. No problem!
