Support and companionship for a blind gentleman while on holiday

I am enquiring on behalf of a friend who used to live on Lanzarote and likes to come for holidays. He lost his sight a few years ago and though he is well catered for in his hotel he would appreciate some occasional support, companionship and the possibility of getting out and about. He would need someone who is kind, friendly and reliable. Hours and arrangements by mutual agreement.
