My wife lost her glasses on the beach outside sol lanzarote. She was close to the shore. They're bi focal shades and she really needs them to see. The wind picked up just after she lost them so they probably drifted towards Puerto del carmen way

Just come across this forum and found it really useful, reading through all your posts.

Myself and my husband have been holidaying in Lanzarote (Puerto Del Carmen) area for numerous years now and have fell in love with the island. We have just returned back to UK from having spent 5 weeks over in PDC.

We are looking at purchasing a small 1 bed property soon - fingers crossed.  Our plan would be to have extended holidays and then hopefully move over permanent in a couple of years.

Can anyone give me suggestions about where to buy blinds in Puerto del Carmen and what type is best..prices etc.is it best to get them fitted and also garden furniture and sunbeds.

Is there usual a long wait for the blinds and has anyone bought the IKEA ones.. naturally I would need blackout type I guess.thank you.xx

Sorry I’m sure this has been asked many times before but wanted a up to date answer. Does anyone have a recommendation for a car rental company?

I always rent a car when travelling, I have travelled a lot recently and understand prices are higher but the quotes I’m getting vary a lot. (21 nights, prices are between £200- £500 for the same size car) (I also understand that the top up insurance needs to be paid for separately)
