I arrive tomorrow and have the opportunity to borrow my Canarian friends car.  I'm not insured via my Uk insurance and have been advised to either get Spainish cover whilst there ( hoping 8 to 10 wks) or my friend insures me on his insurance.  I would prefer to insure myself so as not to bother my friend.  Any advice appreciated.  Cheers Claire :-)

Excel 4/3 front zip T8!

We have recently bought a house in La Vegueta which has a local TV arial and did have an intrnet / phone connection too.

Unfortunately the previous owners left sometime ago so phone is connected but needs reinstasting. Broadband we have no idea about there, but believe that the signal is not strong. Apart from JMA whose package seem to be expensive, are their any other options worth considering?

Helpful advice would be gratefully received.

This year I have been overrun with a beetle (which flies) it is dark brown with orangy/red stripes. I want to kill them but frightened weed killer may damage my plants. Any suggestions please
