Hi arriving soon can anyone explain the strike with taxi,buses etc.Haven't booked a transfer from airport to hotel or return just wondered best way to go about getting to and from hotel as both dates has the strike thank you in advance for any information
Bus and coach operators are planning multiple 24-hour strikes on Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands, during October. The strikes will run 00:01-23:59 on Oct. 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25 and 28. This does not directly effect taxis however, with less buses for local residents to use to get to work it may have a knock on effect.
Update: The strike is suspended only for today 4th and tomorrow 5th there will be new negotiations. https://www.canarias7.es/.../suspende-huelga-transporte...
