It's still valid, I am currently using my UK blue badge as my Spanish one has expired, and I don't have a problem parking... Just if you go into a bay that says " 2 horas" please don't go over the 2 hour timing.

No my UK blue badge doesn't have EU on it, only a UK on it, and like I said I am using it without problems
