UK Tax advice before moving to Lanzarote?

Hi Everyone,

We are looking to move to Lanzarote in the new year but I’m thinking we should probably speak to someone about tax implications. I have just read that when we sell our house in the UK if we receive funds after our visa is in force we have to pay tax to the Spanish Government??  This has come as a surprise so now I am wondering if there could be more surprises. Hence my need to consult a financial planner and/or tax consultant, I suspect one in the UK that knows about Spanish tax rules/laws. Has anybody else used someone in the UK that they could recommend?
