No 

If it was easier to get visa/nie then yes 

The way we see it is there's too much money wrapped up in a villa that we won't hardly use

So we might just rent a villa/apartment 3 months at a time

It's is allowed under the NLV.

Speak to clarity consulting Lanzarote and Steph will guide you.

Be careful with CGT you will need to sell when UK tax resident therefore move after 183 days

Thanks for the information re CGT I can see how I could get caught out! Rental income is classed as passive income apparently. I have to double check everything. Cha

It's the 30% tax you have to pay when selling 

It's cheaper for us to rent 180 days

I don’t blame you if you have the choice! For me it’s all or nothing and at my age I expect to live out my days there if I go. Still lots to find out. Cha
