90 days or Visa??

Exciting times! You can stay for up to 90 days while looking for somewhere suitable. Steph at Clarity Consulting mentioned a loophole that then allowed you to apply for your residency without returning to the UK but I am not sure if this is still a possibility. It would make things easier for many planning to move. By getting your Visa you will have already been through the process of proving funds, criminal records check, etc. which then makes the application for residency more straightforward? Thanks Loopy T!!  I took your advice last time I posted something and got in touch with Steph at Clarity Consulting who has been really helpful. She has sent me some documents that give good advice on what we need to do. I don’t like asking her too many questions, hence my question on her!  Although I will use her when I can as she really knows what she is talking about. I thought this was a more ‘practical’ question, ie what does everybody else do?

It is exciting, and only yesterday I was talking to someone who had moved back to the UK after spending 16 years in Spain. He said it had been fab. I couldn’t really understand why he had come back here. I asked him if he was mad 😂🤣

I’ve been learning Spanish so tried it out on him, only to be disappointed when he said he could only order 2 beers 😩😱

Have you joined the groups on Facebook? It is very useful and you tend to get very quick replies and very good advice from people who have been through the experience.
