I know that Sands Beach is currently up for auction, so it's all up in the air at the moment, it needs alot of work, I know that it is run down and alot of apartments need renovation, a few have been done. One of the swimming pools has been dug out ready for renovation but then it stopped. I think the current owners do not have the money to carry on, so it's up for auction. That is all I know. If you want to buy anywhere try a site round the corner, it is a Residential site with a pool etc, it's called club teguisol, Good luck x
