Recommendations for stay in a sociable community

My wife and I would like to spend next winter in Lanzarote in a development / neighbourhood where we can easily meet and socialise with other people. We're flexible as to location - not necessarily in Teguise - it could be anywhere on the island. Ideally within walking distance to cafes and restaurants so we aren't entirely dependent on a car. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi,

I would recommend Playa Blanca lovely walk along the seafront from Marina Rubicon to the Lighthouse and lots of cafes and restaurants. Good cheap bus service aswell if you didn't want to walk.
