My wife and I are non-working residents who own our home. We are not yet retired and are residents back in UK. We would like to register with our local Doctors Surgery but everything I have read says we need a Social Security number, is that correct ? We have NIE, Passport, copy of Escritura, Spanish Bank Account and copy Utility Bills, should this be sufficient to get registered?  Any advice welcomed. Many Thanks.

My wife and I would like to spend next winter in Lanzarote in a development / neighbourhood where we can easily meet and socialise with other people.  We're flexible as to location - not necessarily in Teguise - it could be anywhere on the island.  Ideally within walking distance to cafes and restaurants so we aren't entirely dependent on a car.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

Hi as above I am thinking about moving to Lanzarote with my family just the 4 of us me my wife and 2 teenagers has anybody else done similar I am interested in info about the school and maybe a lads chance of apprenticeship or similar? Great BOB running buggy with large wheels. Very good for off-road, bumpy terrain, beach. But also just easy to push around town, on roads etc. Suitable from 6 months old. Has new inner tubes, also includes rain cover.  Looking for quick sale.
