Hi there,

I have just returned from Lanzarote where I am being told there is no point getting a Surveyor when buying a property.

What is the general opinion? If I need a Surveyor can anyone recommend and English speaking one?

We need to replace our brown rattan sofa and two chairs in our sun lounge. Can anyone suggest places to look other than Home Zentrum and IKEA. I believe there may be some shops in Playa Honda.

We are planning on moving to Lanzarote. Possibly Playa Blanca but open to other areas as long as we are near restaurants and the sea. But we wondered is it possible to come out to Lanzarote for up to 90 days to find and possibly purchase our home and then return to the UK (or even not return??) and apply for a non- lucrative visa? We think we have to be in the UK to apply for the non-lucrative visa??

The flip side is applying for the visa but when we get out there we wouldn’t have a permanent address until we bought somewhere?

How does everyone do it? Which way round?

Hi, We have booked to come over in November fingers crossed!! We'd like to get a taxi from the airport to Parque Del Rey but looking at reviews its hard to know who would be best!

Any recommendations would be appreciated please!
