If you are non resident and being charged €15 a quarter that is the best by far - if you are a resident that’s a lot as I know bbva does not charge

As a non resident property owner the best I can seem to get is €40 a quarter with Banco Sabadell or €15 a month with Santander - if anyone who is non resident has anything better please let me know - cheers...

...

I’ve been thinking of BBVA bank I believe they don’t charge fees but not sure just yet , if you google them there one of the biggest banks on the planet , regards pau

Hi Fiona

We also own a home and Non Residents and we are with Santander. We do not incur any bank charges on the proviso that we pay in a minimum of 100€ a month.

All our direct debits for the villa are from this account and they have been excellent. The online banking app is really easy to set up and is in English if that helps.

Julie

Thank you so much - we went into Santander in costa teguise and they were most insistent that it would be €15 a month now Brexit has been finalised- you have a real bargain there 👍🏼

Sorry to hear that, we have been with them for the last 15 months and no fee although ours is in Arrecife not Costa Teguise.
