Hi Lilly, when I went proof of PCR before travel was required for the first two weeks.  I suggest that you check the Spanish rules to see the vaccination and test requirements.  I am also going in December (yippee!) and will check nearer the time in case of any changes.  Have a wonderful time.

Hi, proof of vaccination and fill in spanish heath app for QR code is required for entry. Tests are only for return to UK 

My decision is that it is worth it for, in my case, three months but wouldn't be for a week or two.

International clinic do walk in no appointment 20 euros. Open every day 8 -2. Clinic is by fariones hotel the new refurbished one

Hi we are coming to Puerto del carmen in October from Scotland we know all about PLF forms and certificates what I would like to know do we need a pcr test or will the scottish government accept an Antigen test ?? on our return home ? we have been double vaccinated. It is all very confusing.

Hi Shirls01, at the moment you need a fit to fly  antigen/lateral flow test no more than 72 hours before flying back to UK. These can be done in airport or clinics and some hotels in lanzarote. You need to pre-book a PCR for your return to UK and test must be done within 48hrs of arriving home.This needs to be booked through scot gov website using organisation CTM. You need the reference number of test for UK locator form to be allowed to fly home. Hope this helps.

Thanks I know about the test on day 2 after coming home, what I really wanted to know will an antigen test be accepted for coming home or does it have to be a PCR test done 48/72 hours before leaving PDC ?? I cannot seem to get an answer to that question.

Hi again, you only need a fit to fly antigen test that meets UK gov standard and not the PCR. Should cost between 20-40 euros. I would google pre flight tests for PDC or once there ask your hotel or local clinic. I actually bought mine from a company called Breathe Assure before I left and took it with me then you do test on a zoom call with RGN on video. She then sends certificate of fit to fly.
